Cowan Carpentry until 2016 was a specialist joinery company building a wide range of bespoke products including summer houses, gazebos and garden rooms. In 2016 Cowan Carpentry incorporated T.W. Hanns Manufactured Joinery, the leading supplier of bespoke wooden staircases in the West of Scotland. The company is now located in a large workshop in Hollybush and specialises in the building of bespoke, hand made wooden stairs.
Our craftsmen will build a staircase to your design using only the finest quality timber. Attention to detail in the construction of staircases is paramount and from the very first stage we will work to ensure that we create a beautiful stair for your building, whether it is a new build home or a renovation project.
We can carry out site visits and help you with the design of the staircase.
We can either provide a supply only service, where your own joiner fits the staircase, or we offer a supply and fit service where our team manufacture and fit your new staircase to the highest standards.
Our staircases are all unique pieces of craftsmanship but the one thing that they do have in common is that they comply with all relevant British and European standards.
